Who Are the WellTraveledNebraskans?
While I hope that everyone can become a person who is Well Traveled in Nebraska, I am LeAnna Brown- Creator of WellTraveledNebraskan.com.
My husband and I are both born and raised Omahans, and despite having lived abroad for many years, Omaha will ALWAYS be my Homaha! We now currently reside in Omaha with our two sons.
After moving back home from living in Germany, I was determined to continue to travel, travel, travel. What better place than right here in our own backyards!? I just KNEW that despite Nebraska tourism being ranked 50 🙁 that there HAD to be some of that Nebraska magic, pride, and, for lack of a more eloquent way of saying it, AWESOMENESS, that all Nebraskans encompass in things to do here.
And so, began our journey to start exploring Nebraska. We love taking road trips that get off I-80 and into the rolling hills (yes, HILLS!) of Nebraska, getting outdoors for hikes, and seeing what big things the small towns have to offer.
When I’m not finding the next location to go uncover and discover in Nebraska, my family enjoys traveling the rest of the US and world (yes, we are ALWAYS on the go!). You can typically find us in our backyard with a bonfire, camping in our Pop Up in one of our great State Parks, or staying constantly busy finding things to do in Omaha almost daily. I love working out, writing, and I am always looking for ways to better myself (I’m currently into Visualizing and Affirmations!)
We know that Nebraska isn’t exactly known for its tourism or even for a list of amazing things to do, but that doesn’t mean it’s not there. It’s just time to uncover and discover it….and then share with the rest of Nebraska! And that’s EXACTLY what we aim to do: Become THE authority in Nebraska Travel!
